Some exciting things are happening in this trip to India. I stayed in India for a whopping 5 days but achieved so much in those days, it was truly productive and satisfying!
Destination: Delhi Airport
Feeling: Relief. The smell of home very familiar and oddly comforting
In India people often store luggage on top of the cars if extra space is required. Prime example ^
We're staying with dad's side of the family for 3 days. Everyone was there as it is my cousin's engagement function on Day 3! Met everyone on this side of the family, caught up with them. Teased my bro a lot about getting engaged haha as you do.
Ate a lot of good food, my granddad was feeling very proud of seeing all of his children and grandchildren together. We definitely cherished the moment.
Cousin had a fair amount of issues happening with the suit that was meant to arrive. Went to the stores with him to help sort things out. Also took this opportunity to browse for other things in the shops.
Decided that my cousin sister and I would perform a dance on the engagement. Picked 3 songs to perform as a medley: Aaja Nachle, Gallan Goodiyan and Banno tera swagger. Watched a load of youtube videos for inspiration and came up with most of the steps for the first song: Aaja nachle. Practiced this all night with my cousins. This was the beginnings of our sleepless nights.
