Catch Up

4 months is a pretty long time, how about a catch up? :) :)

I finally sat the theory test and got my Learners Permit, I was really busy during this yr's Orientation week worked as a CommBank Ambassador which was tiring yet fun and on Friday I celebrated Holi (festival of colours) at the beach with a whole lot of other people and that was heaps of fun!

2nd year of uni begins and I'm still in Software Engineering.

I honestly don't really know what to say here.

I am realising that the older we get it is only going to get harder and harder to make friends with people the way you want to if that makes sense. The way we did in high school, always hanging out types.  If you were lucky enough to have that in high school/uni to begin with. And if you don't have a really nice tight group of friends, life can get boring/lonely. Or at least this can be an issue of struggle for the extroverts out there, if not the introverts.

What's even harder is to find new friendships who are on the same page as you, like minded people you can easily talk to and hang out with, and then actually being able to spend time together.
Life ahead, seems a little uncertain but lets see how it goes!

ps: i really want to get into reading books again, but aside from say teen novels (and even that I haven't been reading) I can't find anything gripping. Though a friend wrote a novel last year that I enjoyed and is almost done with another!

  1. Awesome to hear from you Hali! Can I recommend 'Cloud Atlas' by David Mitchell? It's sort of long, and a little confusing (I guess I'm not promoting it very well), but I found it super interesting. Hope to hear more!
