End of IB - 3 months Holidays

It has been far too long since my last post. Only yesterday I got reminded of my blog's existence - gathering dust. At first I couldn't really think of much to write about. However, once I got reading my blog posts all the way from the first one, I've realised how slack I've become and suddenly found HEAPS to tell you about!

Firstly, Teigan from Bollywood Star never featured in any films (at least I never heard of any and even Google stalking didn't hint to anything post 2012!). It will be a mystery now as to whether she simply won the show and never got signed up, whether she was so bad she lost her chance, or what actually happened.

In other news, I SURVIVED IB WOOP WOOP. Got 38/45 = 97.90 ATAR in SA + NT and 96.45 or was it 96.35 (Can't remember) everywhere else.

The irony.... I'm sure most people feel that human rights
are being violated with the amount of work/stress involved :p

I survived this. I'm basically Katniss of IB.
In other IB related news, I got an interview from Indian Link (Indian newspaper in Australia) as they heard that I finished yr 12 (From who i have no idea o.O the person who told them about me had dad's number so must know us).
That was exciting as an interview and a pic of my face got printed in the newspaper! :o (And I didn't even get 99+ ATAR).

Similar to this, I also got invited to a Felicitation Ceremony (along with 10ish other students) for the Indian Community toppers and met another girl there who I am now friends with and even see at uni!! How awesome is that!
What I loved best about the ceremony was that we got framed certificates :o :o I love it. Though it says I did SACE... instead of IB -_-
Actually I felt really bad this day. Basically what happened was that some man (seemed like he was important) came up to all of us receiving the certificates and says "So you are all the most intelligent students eh?" or something along those lines and I reply with "apparently so" and I meant that in a very "I can't believe I am here even though I am not a 'topper' at all. Obviously my response did not reflect my true intentions because he commented saying I have a big ego :'( So before anything even began, the day was a downer. Oh well, me and my big mouth ruining things for myself.

Since I got a Merit for Chem SL (It was my only 7/7), I also got invited to an IB ceremony which was heaps of fun as well.

In terms of social events, I went to a friend's 18th at the beach and that was fun, got part of the cricket world cup hype starting by going to watch Australia vs India last yr in the test series - in the Adelaide test match - fifth day. Then turns out dad had bought tickets for India vs Pakistan match which I enjoyed watching with my best friend!! It was a blast and India won obviously :D :D

Ind Vs Pak 2015 Grounds looks like Indian Flag
Doesn't the above pic look like the Indian flag a bit? The sky was on fire that day - so beautiful! So the sky is orange, there is white in the lights and the tops of the shade and the ground is green! The blue chakra is the sea of blue shirts worn by the Indian fans!
Indian Flag

My holidays also involved moving into our new house - buying a whole lot of new furniture and me putting the pieces together. Also getting a lot of trades in to do stuff like finishing the driveway, fence and other stuff. The house has still not been completely finished. I have no blinds/curtains in my room :p I don't mind too much apart from when it gets too hot.

My next post will be posted soon hopefully and about university.

Till then,
Nehal
